International Peace Summit in Netherlands and Belgium October 20, 2010 by - Harriet Algra
The visit by the Elders to the Netherlands and Belgium is over and I a look back to this period as one of the best weeks of my life so far. Through them I was able to take a look in the New Times in which we are slowly moving into . Until now this was rather abstract but through the Elders and their messages I know it is going to be a wonderful world which is very hopeful and full of love.
The Elders who came to see us arrived from Colombia and the United States were:
![]() Mamo Kuncho, the spiritual leader of the Arhuaco's
Mamo Hipolito, Arhuaco Judith and Ruth, also Arhuaco Mama Patricio, Kogi Ruben and Jordan Saufkie, Hopi Indians of Arizona (USA) Adam Yellowbird, initiated in the Hunkpapa Lakota tradition
Through the visit of the Elders I suddenly understood what Drunvalo Melchizedek meant by his saying that the Spiritual Energy in the last few years has moved from Asia (India / Tibet) to South America (Peru, Guatemala). More information about this can be found in his book "The Serpent of Light “.Asia had in past thousands years many enlightened Avatars / Gurus born who lived and life completely from the heart in Oneness. The people living around them lived often under the most miserable conditions. Look at the caste system in India and people like Mother Amma, who was not accepted by her own family. because of her dark skin.
Inside the Kogi / Arhuaco community everybody is living in the heart. It is Mamo Kuncha, as spiritual leader and head of all Mamos, who is chosing the men and women together. He is able to look into the future and see which couples match best physically, spiritually and emotionally. He can even see which souls will be born from this commitment and if there will be Mamo's among them. As a result, divorce hardly or not occur within these communities and the male / female relationships are completely balanced and based on mutual respect.
The entire visit to the Netherlands and Belgium with all the preparations rested on numerous "coincidences" and went well. If you ask me now how I've organized it all, my only answer is: "No clue, everything went almost by itself." The “Bronkerk” which we choose for the Peace Summit in the Netherlands, was already pretty booked up with activities when we visited them for the first time. However, the two days which we needed for the weekend were available. Coincidence. Regarding the location in Belgium, I had asked Jo Reijnders, a Belgian client of mine, to help me find something because I am totally unfamiliar in Belgium. Within one week I received a phonecall from Peter Stulens, manager of Castle Nieuwenhoven who asked whether the castle might be suitable for the Peace Summit. The photographs he mailed me later were really beautiful and soon we made an appointment that I would come and visit them to discuss the details. To my big surprise, Jo phoned me two weeks later and apologized to the fact that he still hadn’t found a location. Nieuwenhoven Castle came out of the blue. Later I discovered it were the Mamos who created this location because this place needed urgent healing because of his rather turbulent history of the past few hundred years.
When all flights were booked, it came became clear that both flights from Colombia and the US were landing on August 24 at the same time on two different airports; Dusseldorf in Germany and Brussels in Belgium at 2.15 PM. Within 5 minutes the phone rang and I had arranged 2 different drivers to pick up the group from Colombia in Belgium. Myself with Marie Jose, a friend, would travel to Dusseldorf to welcome the American group.
Tuesday, August 23, I had my last day of work in my practice as a therapist in Natural Medicine. Until 5 PM I had appoinments scheduled. Around noon I read my emails and saw to my horror an email from Adam Yellowbird stating that they had just landed safely and I could reach him on his mobile. Help, they were one day too early ………………….. I panicked and called Marie José with the question how we could solve this problem. At the same time my other phone was ringing and something made me pick up this phone too. This proved to be Peter Toonen, a specialist of the Mayan Calendar who would speak in the Summit as well. When I told him I was completely in stress , his dry response was: "I know , that’s why I’m phoning. What’s up?" I explained the situation and the solution immediately showed up: "Book a hotel in Düsseldorf so they can rest and you can finish the things as originally planned” And this is how it went.
Once everyone arrived, heavy rains started. All the elders where staying on the estate “Hoog Deelen” on the Veluwe, a nature reserve. Thursday, the 25 th of August it rained non-stop and we decided to make a walk in the forrest around 2PM. Viathou Peletier had arranged plastic ponchos and rubber boots for whoever needed it.
During the walk I gave Mamo Kuncha a stone in his hand which was found in a crop circle in Zierikzee, the Netherlands in 1994. This stone had very unique properties. It immediately neutralized extreme emotions. We always had had the idea that this stone came from outer space. Mamo Kuncha's response was the opposite. He explained that these stones, which they themselves have in their possession come from the Inner World. Somehow it came to the surface and might have created the crop circle.
A little while later we passed a barn where someone was welding .The Mamos indicated that they wish to enter here. Patty Salazar, their interpreter, told us that the Mamos on the way from the airport to the Veluwe had indicated that they would need for their ceremonies three pieces of train tracks. Where the hell in the Netherlands do you get three pieces of train tracks. Viathou went back inside the barn and asked the person who was welding, whether he had any idea. His reply was: "Here with me, I am in possession of one of the oldest pieces of railroad tracks in the Netherlands. This was used for the transport of timber. How big should the piece be? "On the spot he cut the required pieces, and again we were confronted with an example of materializing on the spot by the Mamos.
The Summit in Ugchelen went almost entirely according to plan. We started the Summit when it was pouring rain and ended the next day with plenty of Sun which lit up the the drum of the Lakota singers during the closing ceremony. The first day Jan-Frank Gerards gave a lecture about his connections with the Kogi. He told us how he had discovered 10 years ago in a small museum in Cuijck an original Tayrona necklace and two flutes. A few years later he went back and discovered the museum no longer existed. When he spoke to some people he discovered that everything was transferred to the World Museum in Rotterdam. He decided to make contact with them and after several conversations it seems they are willing to return this valuable treasures back to their original owners, the Kogi and Arhuacu. This requires intense preparation to make sure that this treasures really do end up with the Kogi’s and not to the state of Colombia. During the lunchbreak Jan-Frank was approached by a person who was visibly emotional. He told Jan-Frank that his uncle had been the person who had founded the museum in Cuijck. During his life he collected many treasures with the idea to return those to their rightful owners. His dream now seems to come true.
In Belgium, everything went differently than planned. I was so glad that I had previously informed the participants that we were dealing with Indian time which could change our program. We arrived one hour late and again it was pouring rain and cold outside. The original plan had been to have the Summit outside but the weather forced us to move to a huge barn where in the old days all crops were saved. Here it was cold and drafty with the result that Patricio caught a cold and spent the next day sick in bed.
The message of Reuben Saufkie and his son Jordan was very moving. Apparently the Hopi are no tribe but is a way of life. It means to live in balance with yourself and with nature, to live with all the elements such as air, water, fire and earth. Living and giving from the heart. To live Hopi makes you a better person.
This has resulted into the fact that many Native Americans derail and become addicted to alcohol, drugs and gambling. This happened to Ruben as well and for more than 10 years he was an alcoholic. Because of this he missed his initiation that an adult male Hopi receives in which he is fully initiated into the Hopi traditions. Ruben succeeded to leave his addiction behind him and he hopes to receive this initiation in 2012 together with his son Jordan. In the seventies a Swiss organization made a film about the Hopi, the division of the people, like the western world was divided by the system. This movie can soon be ordered through the www.totalhealthfoundation.org.
On the last day of their stay in the Netherlands and Belgium the Mamos asked to show them a city. We were close to Leuven so that’s where we went. Downtown Leuven is beautiful. Mamo Kuncha who always walks barefoot because that is how he connects to Mother Earth, went also barefoot to Leuven. It was amazing how little attention we drew with our eccentric group. It was like we were somehow invisible to the outside world. We spent over 3 hours in the city and walked not even 500 meters. Everything was new to them and was subjected to a thorough examination, as the real Belgian chocolates. In a toy store Patricio created at one point a funny situation. He had discovered a small box which began to moo like a cow when it was turned over. Within minutes, several children gathered around him and they all started to turn over boxes much to the chagrin of the Vendor. If it had been up to her, she would have thrown our whole group on the street, but the humor eventually won.
That same evening we had our last conversation and it became clear that the Peace Summit will get a sequel in 2011 in Colombia itself, at the foot of the Sierra Nevada where the Arhuaco and Kogi life. Kuncha Mamo Mamo said that soon we would hear the correct date. Back home the Mamos would conclave and determine the correct date for this event Until then, we can serve them with sea shells and crystals and gold like for example wedding rings out of divorces. The shells and crystals are used for various ceremonies . The gold which is collected by the Foundation of Jan-Frank Gerards is melted into coins. In this manner it can be discreetly brought to Colombia. The gold is used by the Kogi to the rebalance Mother Earth. Since the arrival of Columbus a lot of gold is stolen. The frequency of gold is needed to restore balance of the earth. Gold for the Kogi has no materialistic value but is a means of balancing of Mother Earth.
